Finish work that belongs on the wall.
Casing, base, window jambs, crown, shiplap, and V-board ceilings. Milled and finished in my shop outside Cochrane, Ontario.
What you get
I mill the pieces in the shop, finish them in the spray booth, and load them on the trailer. I can install them, or I can drop them off for your carpenter. Either way, they leave here already finished.
This is casing, baseboard, window jambs, crown, shiplap, and ceilings. The joint should look like it belongs on the wall. If a piece does not fit, I cut a new one. I do not fill a gap with caulk and move on.
Ceilings
I use V-board so the lines run straight. Stand in the room and every line should track. The largest ceiling I have done this way was forty feet. A laser level sets the grid, and the same line runs the whole length. No joint packed with caulk to hide a miss. No board left crooked. That is the difference between a finished ceiling and a coat of paint.
Shiplap is the same idea on a wall. I have done a lot of it. Same shop, same finish, same rule: the line stays straight.
Trim packages
Window jambs, casing, baseboard, and crown can be cut, finished, and bundled as a house package or a room package. This work is built at home on purpose.
A kitchen can travel as far as Hearst. A whole-house trim package stays closer to Cochrane and Brower. I measure here, mill here, and finish here. Delivery and install if you want them.
Where I take this work
Tile happens in your room. Finish work is what I can load in the trailer. Both stay on the site.
Trim and ceilings: Cochrane and nearby.

If you want the trim finished before it ever hits the house, let’s start with a measure.
