What you get

Anybody can take tile out of a box and cover a wall. That is not the job.

Tiling is a picture. The important word is flow. A river does not snag on one dark stone in the wrong place. Tile is the same. Sometimes a light streak runs into a dark piece. That dark colour belongs in the tile. It does not belong in that spot. If it sits in the wrong place, the picture stops. You can see it from the doorway.

A decent tiler can set what comes out of the box. I open the boxes first and lay the pieces out along the wall. Dark ones get moved. Light ones get shifted. Once the picture is right, then it goes on the wall. One tile in the wrong place can ruin the whole run.
